ENDRESS+HAUSER STRENGTHENS PARTNERSHIP WITH NWSC’S KATOSI DWTP

The National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC) Katosi Drinking Water Treatment Plant (DWTP) had the honor of hosting a distinguished delegation from Endress+Hauser, a globally renowned manufacturer of electronic metering units. On the picturesque Wednesday morning of May 10th, 2023, the delegation arrived in Mukono District, warmly welcomed by Mr. Joseph Tweheyo, the Plant Manager, setting the stage for a remarkable encounter.

With enthusiasm and expertise, Mr. Tweheyo provided the delegation with a captivating overview of the Katosi DWTP. The discussion revolved around forging a stronger partnership, emphasizing the principles of sustainable development and seamless integration. Notably, the Katosi DWTP boasts an impressive array of measuring units, many of which were sourced from Endress+Hauser through various contractors. During their visit, Mr. Tebogo J Mulauzi, the Regional Product Development Manager at Endress+Hauser, emphasized the company’s unwavering commitment to continuous training programs for the Katosi DWTP staff. These programs aim to enhance the proficiency of the staff in effectively managing and maintaining the electronic metering units. Mr. Mulauzi also stressed the importance of providing regular updates on technological advancements related to these meters, ensuring that the staff remains well-informed and up-to-date, ready to tackle any challenges that may arise.

Moreover, as a testament to their dedication to customer satisfaction, Endress+Hauser recently signed a trading Memorandum of Understanding with NG Stockists, a reputable company based in Kampala. This strategic partnership empowers NG Stockists to supply spare parts and offer technical support to Endress+Hauser’s clients in Uganda whenever the need arises. This collaborative initiative further solidifies Endress+Hauser’s commitment to ensuring seamless operation and longevity of their products in the local market, placing customer satisfaction at the forefront of their endeavors.
