NDEJJE BRANCH INITIATES PROGRAMME TO CHECK IMPACT OF WATER SUPPLY INTERVENTION

While most chose to sleep-in on Saturday morning, Ndejje Branch was on a mission to ensure that one of the biggest water supply interventions, “Ziranumbu Tank” is impacting the intended beneficiaries as planned in a programme dubbed “Ziranumbu House to House Edition”

The Ndejje team hit the field to; assess the impact of the tank, engage customers to get connected or back on supply, get to know and resolve challenges that customers might be facing, and also use the opportunity to collect revenue from selected blocks.

The driven team was also set to handle all anomalies found in the field while on this house to house drive on Ziranumbu hill.

Note that the Ziranumbu tank was commissioned in 2022 and since then, customers on the slopes of Ziranumbu hill and surrounding areas have found solace in hardly any water supply interruptions. Its capacity is about 100 cubic thus 100000 litres and serves over 750 customers.

Assessing the impact of the Ziranumbu Water Supply intervention on intended customers was an important step towards understanding the effectiveness of the intervention and ensuring that it meets the needs of the community. This was definitely a good move by the *“Ndejje Splashers”* and one can only hope that others will emulate.
