The Rotary Club of Kitante headed by Dr. Sarah Bimbona met with Kampala Water’s (KW) Management Senior Manager Central Support-Mr Serumaga Deogratius, Urban Pro-Poor Manager Mr. Siragi Bassajja and Sub-Branch Manager Kamwokya-Ms Grace Chloe Namukwaya to form a partnership aimed at ensuring safe and affordable water in areas of Mulimira zone, church zone, and Kifumbira under Kamwokya Sub-branch.

This move by the Rotary club happens to be one of its many philanthropic milestones within Kamwokya to improve essential services in the suburb from building health facilities, providing scholastic materials to children in school, among others.

Central Support Unit Senior Manager Mr. Serumaga Deogratius was grateful for the idea and further explained the tariff structure and its significance to the people in that community. He encouraged the Rotary Club of Kitante to sign an MOU with NWSC in regards to the matter, in order to strengthen the partnership.

The club looks forward to working with NWSC, to ensure that all people in the Kamwokya area have access to clean and affordable water.

NWSC, water for all
