The Dokolo Water Supply and Sanitation Project, funded by the African Development Bank and the government of Uganda, will address water shortage in Dokolo town council, Adwoki and Iguli trading centers, Agwata and Amwoma sub-counties.

The UGX14 Billion project, whose implementation started on August 3rd 2020 until November 2nd 2021, was handed over to National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC) for operation and maintenance last year and has since stabilized water supply in Dokolo town with improved quality.

The 36km water pipeline from Kachung intake to Dokolo Town Council is set to benefit at least 68 villages in Dokolo.

NWSC remains committed to ensuring quality and reliable supply to all Ugandans.
