KAMPALA WATER LAUNCHES HOUSE-TO-HOUSE OPERATIONS

Kampala Water has launched a house-to-house operation as a means of preparing and getting value for the newly commissioned Katosi Project. This is in a bid to take stock of all connections and handle anomalies affecting business growth.

The operation commenced last week with Mukono as the inaugural Branch and host of the Katosi Water Plant. Consisting of about 400 blocks, a team of 260 auditors investigated the water supply status in the area and sensitized customers about the availability of water especially in areas that have previously been dry zones from time in memorial.

Customers were also assured of continued water supply without disconnection during the lockdown period and attempts to woo those with suppressed/turned off accounts due to intermittent supply or non-payment were made.

The operation will this weekend be witnessed in Kyaliwajjala Branch as the rest wait their turn.

These operations build and strengthen customer trust, through understanding their needs and complaints whilst meeting their expectations. As we often say, “The Customer is King and the reason we exist”.
