Nebbi and Paidha Clusters continue to strive to grow business through Technical and Engineering practices and innovations to accomplish PIPs for the next 6 months. This is mainly centered on REA (Reliability, Efficiency and Accountability)

In the case of reliability, the clusters have seen to increase of water production from 54,000m3 to 74,000m3, improve on water quality and flow rate at treatment plant slow sand filters, increase in efficiency of pump operations from usual 48m3/hr to 54m3/hr, redesigning intake systems, defective meter monthly servicing, laying mains extensions through the SCAP100 programme, completion of the Parombo project that will see addition of over 10,000 customers onto the NWSC grid and, drilling of boreholes at Jupamochoo.

As should be, when pushing for business growth, one should put high importance in promoting efficiency which is why the clusters have increased response time in leakage and burst handling, increase speed in new connections, timely resolving of no waters and, asset management.

Accountability, the factor that an organization’s growth can be built on and clearly something acknowledged by NWSC’s Nebbi and Paidha teams as they depict ownership and dedication in monitoring all accounts to curb illegal usage and illegal connection, reduction of NRW, optimal usage of fuel and chemicals, timely servicing of all electro mechanical equipment and, Personal Accountability of all QCOs at production plants to ensure optimal production.

Remarkably, the technical department is in coordination with all other departments and stakeholders to ensure these parameters are achieved in a well-coordinated and timely manner to grow business in the Nebbi and Paidha clusters and all this is bound to ensure “Water for All”.
