The Corporation’s Central Laboratory, in Bugolobi is its flagship facility, providing comprehensive testing services both internally and to over 1,000 external clients, including hydropower stations, manufacturers, consultants, researchers, and students. Clients rely on NWSC not only for one-off testing but also for ongoing quality monitoring through monthly, quarterly, or annual contracts. Each sample undergoes strict handling protocols from collection through analysis, with standardized procedures guaranteeing accuracy and accountability. Test data is securely managed through the Water Quality Information Management System (WQIMS), a digital platform that ensures seamless record-keeping and easy access for clients.
Beyond technical excellence, NWSC prioritizes customer care. A dedicated support team at the Central Lab guides clients through every step, and that way nurture strong, lasting partnerships. Samples are also preserved for up to two weeks to accommodate any client requests for retesting or further inquiry.
