NWSC LUTEETE BRANCH ENGAGES KYANJA COMMUNITY IN KEY STAKEHOLDER MEETING

While most wound down to enjoy the weekend, a delegation from the National Water and Sewerage Corporation’s (NWSC) Luteete branch on Saturday, June 8th, 2024 suited up for a community sensitization and engagement meeting with the Kyanja Neighborhood Watch community to discuss water related issues in the area. 

During the meeting, the NWSC team presented detailed information on the new online application procedures for water connections, various bill payment options, and addressed community concerns regarding recent water supply interruptions. They also emphasized NWSC’s dedication to providing a reliable supply of clean, safe water to all households in the area.

The residents of Kyanja voiced their concerns, and to their satisfaction, all complaints were adequately resolved, and key staff contacts were shared to facilitate timely complaint resolution in the future.

Representing NWSC were; the Branch Manager, Ms. Samantha Mpuga, Sub-Branch Manager (Buwate), Derrick Atwiine, and Commercial Officer, Jill Mugasa. The meeting also included participation from key stakeholders such as the Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA), UMEME, Uganda Police, local council leaders, and Nakawa Division Mayor Mr. Mugabe, among other dignitaries.
