November 22nd, 2023: Kampala Water’s Seeta branch team went beyond the routine of delivering essential water services, and embarked on a praiseworthy initiative at the Seeta Central Market. Spearheaded by the Branch Manager, Ms. Caroline Kyomugisha, alongside Manager Sarah Assimwe, Mr. Anthony Ninsiima, the commercial officer, and a team of dedicated individuals, the community welfare endeavor took shape through a thorough cleanup, and sensitization drive.

Decked out in reflective gear, gloves, and gumboots, armed with an arsenal of spades, brooms, rakes, and dustbins, the team dived into the task. Beyond the physical cleanup, the team seized the opportunity to engage with market vendors and shoppers, shedding light on the services offered by the National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC), addressing customer concerns such as bill payments, leakages, and NWSC e-services.

The community responded positively to this thoughtful gesture, acknowledging NWSC’s dual commitment to not only delivering essential water services but also actively participating in the wellbeing of the communities it serves. Satisfied smiles at the end of the day reflected the success of the Seeta team’s revitalization efforts.

This blend of sensitization, corporate social responsibility (CSR), and community engagement clearly depicted the corporation’s commitment to the betterment of its customers’ livelihood.
