WATER SUPPLY IN KAKIGANI PARISH, RWAMPARA DISTRICT TO BE IMPROVED

To improve water supply to Rwampara District, the General Manager-Mbarara Area- Eng. Kateeba Francis sought guidance on subsequent decision making from the Rwampara county Member of Parliament, Hon. Amos Kankunda and the Rwampara district LCV chairperson Mr. Richard Owomugasho who together with the NWSC team were treated to a guided tour of gravity source(s) located at Karagwe cell in Kakigani parish.

The said guidance is aimed at the designing and constructing of a water supply system that will draw its water from the visited gravity sources and serve the entire parish and surrounding communities.

 

Eng. Kateeba in his remarks, re-echoed the strategic fundamental importance of water to humanity and assured the meeting of NWSC’s dedication and capacity to execute both the system’s design and implementation. He also pledged to ensure a complete design and accompanying design report and bills of quantities expected to be ready within a period of less than a month.  Hon. Kankunda appreciated NWSC, especially the Managing Director for his continued good leadership and guidance on this project. He pledged to support NWSC throughout the entire
process.
