Warugo treatment plant project, literally taking shape

The Manager Geographic Information System/ Blockmapping, Ms. Evas Tumuheirwe coupled with a
Surveyor-Mr. Musenze Samuel joined by the Bushenyi Area Manager saw to the boundary demarcation affiliated to the Warugo treatment plant project in Bushenyi.

The activities that characterized the boundary demarcation included; Surveying the proposed sites for the intake, treatment plant and reservoir as well as Demarcating the boundaries for the sites and, engaging the Area local leaders about the project.

The 2-day long field exercise birthed a technical report which will eventually guide the subsequent negotiations about the identified pieces of land, as the project is expected to start soon.

Notably; while at it, the team also engaged various stakeholders, especially in Bitooma and Kakanju Sub-counties.

Once completed the project is expected to serve four Sub-counties thus; Bitooma, Kakanju, Kyamuhunga and Ruhumuro.
