The Senior Manager Water Supply-Eng. Francis Kateeba, Network Managers Bbale Francis and Nandiobe Moses, and, contractors from Act Uganda Limited began an ambitious endeavor to intensify water supply in several areas of Nabaziza, Buddo, Nakawuka road, Nabingo, Makataka, Nakimese, and Nsangi.
The mission required a trek from Wankulukuku booster in Kyengera to Mutundwe tank, to navigate the pipe route.
The project will involve laying 2 kilometers of DN250 pumping main. Organizing and trenching works will commence right away, and the project is expected to be fully operational within two weeks.
This development stands to be a game-changer for the areas, as stable access to clean water is a pressing need. The Network team is therefore confident that this initiative will bring about significant changes to the livelihoods of the local residents.
