Delivering the promise of Water for All; National Water and Sewerage Corporation, Bugongi Branch under Sheema Area, delivered 800m of pipes following a promise to the people of Nyakayonja, Kararo Parish in Bushenyi District that they would bring services nearer to their homes. Residents who had decried acute shortage of water for decades appealed to the branch through their leaders (CP LC3, Lady Councilor LCV, District Vice CP and Area Woman MP) for an intervention from NWSC.
Shine Bone, Area Manager-Sheema delivered the promise to the residents who welcomed NWSC with so much happiness.
Pipe laying will commence as soon as possible so that Nyakayonja village can enjoy clean and fresh water. It should be noted that Nyakayonja village that hosts over 30 families in Karaaro Parish, is the biggest in Bushenyi District.
