NWSC-World Vision Nabukalu Project taking shape

With the aim to provide clean and safe water, the Area Manager -Bugiri together with a team from the area office had a field visit with the World Vision overall Site Engineer for Eastern region and his team to check the progress of the ongoing works and harmonize a few operational issues. This project once complete will serve the community in Nabukalu town council and the surrounding villages.

Transmission lines have been completed and back filled, now embarking on distribution lines. Going forward, both NWSC and World Vision have arranged upon a joint inspection of the ongoing trenching and a schedule has been drafted to enable this supervision. Also the trenches are to be substantiated by World Vision and NWSC team before the final laying of pipes.

The first phase of the project is complete, with the 2nd phase ongoing and is projected to be complete by October to enable the start of the 3rd phase.
