NWSC TOP MANAGEMENT TO SUPPORT WESTERN REGION SUPPORT CENTER (WESREC) IN TRAINING REGIONAL STAFF

Capacity development is a key success factor to institutional advance, a fact that National Water and Sewerage Corporation takes seriously as it has focused on ensuring continuous knowledge management and learning, and, the deliberate move to adopt various change management techniques that have generated a wealth of knowledge and experience within the organization.

In this regard, the NWSC top management has pledged its full support to the Western Region Resource Centre (WESREC) in training Regional staff. This was disclosed by the Director Business and Scientific Services, Dr. Rose Kagwa while presiding over a mini handover ceremony at the center. 

The new training manager for the center, Mr. Jonas Tumwiine who started work in October 2021, appreciated Dr. Kagwa for sparing time to visit the center. During her working tour of the center, Dr. Rose handed over a consignment of assorted stationery and further pledged her full support in ensuring that

the center becomes self-sustaining and, noted that the region was blessed to have such a facility. She also called upon the accounts Assistant for the center Ms. Ronah Ayebazibwe, to fast track the requirements for becoming a cost center where all training activities can be handled. She further informed the team that NWSC top management was aware of the need for branding and furnishing for the center but advised that it should be done in phases.
