NWSC MD SPEAR HEADS STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT IN BUSHENYI

The National Water and Sewerage Corporation is in the habit of constantly engaging its stakeholders so as to best understand their dynamic expectations and strive to meet them while focusing on the implementation of supplying water and sewerage services.

This was depicted when the NWSC Managing Director, Dr. Eng. Silver Mugisha in the company of the District Woman MP, Hon. Annet K. Mugisha and Bushenyi Area team met Bushenyi district leaders, majorly district councilors to engage and update them on the ongoing projects and interventions in the District aimed at better serving the people and fulfilling the corporation’s promise of “Water for All’.

The Area Manager- Bushenyi took on the task of highlighting the ongoing projects, (Walugo, Irembezi, Bweranyangi) mains extensions, hinting on operational challenges and discussing the way forward.

Hon. Katusime Annet Mugisha in her brief remarks commended NWSC’s professionalism, meticulousness and dedication to service. She went on to extend gratitude towards the local leaders for the unwavering support always shown to NWSC, easing the corporation’s service extension.

The LC V chairman, Mr Jaffali Bassajjabala presided over a Q&A session giving the stakeholders a platform to query, complain, complement and simply seek clarity on all issues NWSC related such as; the tariff, service extension, Ongoing projects, intermittent supply solutions both long and short term etc.

Dr. Eng. Mugisha and his team tackled all concerns impressively and by the close of the meeting, he had won the stakeholders’ approval and support.

NWSC remains committed to Water for All, for a delighted customer by a delighted workforce.
