The National Water and Sewerage Corporation’s Managing Director, Dr. Eng Silver Mugisha has been nominated in the African Leadership Business Awards 2021.
This award recognizes the exceptional business leader whose vision, innovations and management abilities have helped steer his company successfully in both his home country and in the global marketplace, driving growth, and providing leadership.
In the case of the exceptional Dr. Eng Mugisha, The Africa Regulator of the year award recognizes a government regulatory agency for its effective regulatory framework or policy initiatives and programs, implemented across national or regional levels. The award also recognizes a team entity that encourages action beyond compliance with applicable laws, enhances stakeholders engagement and contributes to the growth of the nation or region.
Under the Regulator of the year award, Dr. Silver faces off with; Simbi Wabote (CEO, Nigeria Content Development and Monitoring Board), Prima Baluwa Koroma (Executive chairman,
Petroleum Regulatory Authority, Sierra Leone), Ishmael Stan Chioko (Ag CEO Malawi Energy Regulatory Authority), Poppy Khoza (CEO South Africa Aviation Authority).
Dr. Eng Mugisha is joined by Kiira Motors Corporation (KMC) in flying the Ugandan flag high in the prestigious continental awards under the category of Africa Company of the year.
