NWSC DIGITIZES THE NEW CONNECTION PROCEDURE

With the emergence of new technologies and companies transitioning to digitized systems of work, NWSC cannot afford to stay behind on this trend. The need for access to clean and safe water cannot be understated hence the more reason to improve customer experience by easing the new connection procedure.

Kampala Water’s new IT system innovation for New Connection Application allows clients apply for new connections on their mobile device through the NWSC website or the mobile app. The app can be downloaded from Playstore/Appstore and runs both on Android and IOS systems.

This will save time (there’s no need to walk to branch offices anymore), it’s convenient (applications can be done from anywhere anytime, without being bound by geographical location or time), it’s cost effective (no need to photocopy required attachments) and gives one the ability to track their application.

Kampala Water shall run both the old manual process and the digitized process in parallel till December 2021, and by 1st January 2022, phase out the manual system.

The front desk officers at all the Kampala Water branches will be able to help customers during this transitional period.

Notably, the innovation will go nation after success registers in the Kampala Water Region.

NWSC remains committed to Water for All.
