Management from Biyinzika poultry farm met the National Water and Sewerage Corporation’s (NWSC) Mukono Branch Manager, Mr. Daniel Mugoya during which meeting, the National NWSC team committed to sustainably supply water to the farm whenever any operations and maintenance works are undertaken on the Katosi line.
Biyinzika farm, one of the best known brands in the Ugandan poultry industry has a 240,000 liter reservoir that can only accommodate them for 24 hrs. To boost business for both parties, the company plans to add a 500,000-liter reservoir within the next 6 months.
NWSC also agreed to connect the five farms in Mpooma area – Naalya to the system by the end of this month.
