NWSC AND CEFOVID TO PROVIDE WATER IN URBAN PRO-POOR AREAS OF RUBAGA

NWSC is partnering with Community Empowerment for Village Development (CEFOVID) to provide piped water to communities in Kosovo and Lubya – Rubaga Division.

CEFOVID is an NGO that aims at ensuring vulnerable and disadvantaged, women, children and youth in the communities acquire the capacity and ability to sustain good healthy and happy living conditions, provide for their own needs, and increase their own opportunities so as to promote sustainable development. 

During an engagement with the Director CEFOVID, NWSC’s Kampala Water-Urban Pro Poor, Rubaga and Lungujja Branch Managers provided technical and professional guidance on Public Styand Pipes (PSPs) management. 

With coverage currently at 84% within municipal boundaries, NWSC’s main objective is to provide clean, safe and affordable water for all Ugandans
