National Water is working to extend its services to the villages of Karire, Kikuto, and Sazinga in Rukararwe parish. The Area Manager for Mitooma, along with the Branch Manager-Ishaka, Mr. Owona John Bosco, the Area Engineer for Bushenyi, and the Assistant Engineer for Mitooma, recently visited these villages to assess the feasibility of bringing water to the areas.

During the visit, the team determined that water can reach these villages without any elevation challenges from the existing reservoir tank.

This is great news for these communities which have the potential to greatly benefit from access to clean, reliable water from NWSC. The team is now working to determine the best plan for bringing clean, reliable water to these villages, and is committed to making this important project a reality.
