MoWE DELEGATION INSPECT NEW WATER INFRASTRUCTURE IN KOBOKO

The National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC) Koboko welcomed a delegation from the Ministry of Water and Environment (MoWE) on an official visit to inspect the newly completed motorized production well in Nyagilia. The project, a strategic enhancement in Koboko’s water infrastructure, is set to improve water accessibility and quality for the district’s residents.

During the inspection, the delegation met with NWSC’s Koboko Area Manager, Miss Aloro Lillian, who expressed her gratitude to the Ministry for its role in initiating and supporting the Nyagilia project. Miss Aloro assured the delegation of NWSC’s commitment to maintaining and managing the facility to guarantee its sustainability and impact. She stressed that the new infrastructure would enable NWSC to meet growing water demands and support broader public health and economic development efforts in the area.

The project handover, slated for the near future, is a significant step forward for Koboko Area. Upon full operation, the Nyagilia motorized well is anticipated to enhance the livelihood of its beneficiaries.
