The NWSC Board of Directors (BO.D) while on a comprehensive field tour of the NWSC operational areas in the Western region namely; Ntungamo, Rukungiri, Kanungu, Kisoro and, Kabale areas preached the gospel of teamwork, an element bound to augment the corporation’s success story.


The Board Chairman, Eng. Dr. Prof Badru. M. Kiggundu with every address re-echoed team work as an important aspect of excellence and asked the staff to observe it with diligence and humility.


On the other hand, the Board member and chairperson of the Risks committee, Ms. Racheal Kiconco encouraged innovation among the stuff with emphasis on the need to innovatively seek to expand their customer base especially those that are in arrears and suppressed accounts.

The recently concluded visits where aimed at acquainting the B.O.D with the NWSC areas of
operation in the region and further aimed at understanding in depth, it's mode of operation and possible challenges faced in the region so as to improve performance and productivity as well as strategically plan for the corporation in terms of decision making.


The DMD Technical services Eng. Johnson Amayo put extra emphasis on the fact that the region has great potential for even better results operation wise. He encouraged the team to avoid complacency tendencies and asked the technical team to always ask for help whenever necessary hinting again on the aspect of teamwork. He pledged on behalf of top management, to give the area all the support they need so as to boost their performance.
