Representatives from Masanafu branch, Waiswa Magumba (Customer Relations Officer), and Gloria Muzaki (Surveyor), were honored to participate in KCCA’s “Keep the City Clean” campaign at the serene Kawaala Gardens in Rubaga division.

This campaign has a vital mission: to educate citizens on proper waste management, reduce littering, and contribute to the realization of a Smart City agenda.

The event was graced by His Worship Mberaze Mawula Zacchy, the Mayor of Rubaga division, and his Deputy, Rehema Fugge. Both leaders praised the enthusiastic response to this major cleanup initiative. It included door-to-door sensitization on improved sanitation and hygiene practices, efficient waste and fecal sludge management, and better garbage sorting and collection methods.

Mr. Magumba addressed the attendees passionately, delivering BM Ivan Akambona’s message. He urged customers to settle their outstanding bills promptly to ensure seamless operations and the continued provision of affordable services. Mr. Magumba also provided valuable guidance on E-billing and online applications, along with personal and toll-free contacts for reporting anomalies, such as leaks, illegal water usage, and pipe cuts that disrupt stable water supply.

Ms. Gloria Muzaki added her expertise to the discussion by highlighting the dangers of using unsafe alternative water sources, which have unfortunately led to health complications among valued customers. She emphasized the importance of choosing NWSC’s safe and cost-effective services to protect health and well-being.

The event was attended by honorable councilors from Rubaga division, KCCA executives, Nabugabo Up deal staff, schools, and various stakeholders. It was a successful collaboration for cleaner, healthier communities and improved water services.
