To improve water supply in their area, officials of Masaka Diocese at Kitovu honored the timely request to construct a 100m3 steel tank at Kalisizo and Mutukula to be able to supply water to Bukunda town and surrounding villages in Kirumba sub county.

Mr. Moses Kisiibo, the Area Manager assured the Diocese that National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC) is delivering on its promise of service coverage acceleration with the purpose to ensure all communities in Uganda get clean safe water. 

“NWSC is grateful to the Diocese for the support and corporation over the years as far as service delivery of NWSC programs is concerned”. 

Similarly, there was another acquisition of a formal no- objection from Kyotera District Local Government to proceed with the construction of 100m3 steel tank at Kyasimbi hill in Mutukula town council where construction works are expected to commence. Once completed this tank will be able serve at least 20,000 people in Mutukula town council.
