The Kampala Water region under the leadership of the Ag. General Manager-Kampala Water, Ms. Sarah Namuwenge is planning to conduct a Massive Revenue Collection Drive.
The exercise slated for Friday 12th and Saturday 13th May 2023 is aimed at maximizing revenue collection for the month of May following a rather downward performance in April. It will involve a range of strategies and tactics to encourage customers to pay outstanding balances and also get suppressed accounts back on supply.
Ms. Namuwenge stated that this move to hold the drive goes to show Kampala Water’s commitment to improving its financial health, enhancing customer service, promoting accountability, and fostering a positive organizational culture.
Notably, daily targets will be set, and branch competitions in terms of target achievement will be considered.
The Kampala Water Branch management is advised to have their work prepped by Friday May 11th, 2023 and have all teams set to hit the field by 7:00am on the D-Day.
Ultimately, the success of this exercise will depend on the effectiveness of the strategies employed, the willingness of customers to comply, and the overall commitment and determination of the staff.
