KAMPALA WATER LAUNCHES NEW PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT PROGRAMME: PRISM

Kampala Water is serious about performance and will not leave anything to chance. To this end, the Management of Kampala Water and partners, launched a 6-month performance improvement programme code-named PRISM (Physical loss control, Revenue Collection, Illegal use reduction, Sales improvement, Meter management)

The main focus of PRISM is to achieve optimal business growth as a result of commissioning the Katosi project with the objective to; Grow sales and billing, reduce non-revenue water from 40.9% to 37%, reduce arrears by 3 billion shillings, from the current 26.2 billion and, eradicate no water and intermittent supply cases.

PRISM will be the overall performance improvement program for Kampala Water, targeting all Key Performance Indicators from November 2021 to March 2022. It will also improve performance, help meet expectations of Top Management and fulfil customer expectations.
