BUSIA MAJANJI WATER PROJECT SET FOR TAKE-OFF

As National Water and Sewerage Corporation continues to provide water for all, the Busia Area Branch Manager – Ronald Akampa was invited by Ministry of Water and Environment to attend a site meeting for the Busia – Majanji water project.

The meeting which comprised of Ministry of Water and Environment officials led by Eng. Peter Nyakana (Project Coordinator), the Consultant (Joadah Consult) led by the CEO Eng. Joel Aita, the Contractor (Zhonghao Overseas Construction Co.), was aimed at introducing the consultant to the contractor. The contractor used this opportunity to provide a progress report of the project, ever since the site was handed over on 2 nd June 2021.

All equipment and personnel required for the project has been mobilized and, the consultant accentuated on quality of works and timely completion of the project is estimated within 18months.
