Therefore, appreciation towards Dr. Eng. Silver Mugisha and his team, was simply in order.

The district chairman called upon NWSC through the contractor to emphasize the issue of local content during recruitment of the project Staff and urged his fellows to join the corporation in sensitizing communities in case of inconveniences caused by the project.

As should be, he thanked the project Manager, Eng. Denis Taremwa for the tireless efforts to ensure the project’s success so far.

He also informed the leaders that upon the project’s completion, there will be a boost in water production and service coverage in the district and urged the project team to ensure that local contenet is taken into consideration during recruitment as well as prioritize service to those closest to the installations upon project completion with emphasis on pipe network in all proposed beneficiary Sub-Counties.

The Project Manager, Eng. Denis Taremwa informed those present that the project designs were ready and complete as he treated them to a tour of the proposed sites for the intake, treatment plant and reserve tank at River Warugo in Bitooma and Nyakabingo in Kakanju respectively.
