BUIKWE CUSTOMERS TO GET CONSTANT WATER SUPPLY

In a bid to address the demanding need for water in distant places/villages with no portable and palatable water and electricity such as Nsanvu, Malongwe, Muyenga, Mpirivuma, Ajijja, Kiyagi, Katwe, Nantwala, Lweru, Kiito, Kawulu and Seruti, National Water and Sewerage Corporation and World Vision have come together, to better the livelihoods of the community in Buikwe.

With an already successful installation of a transformer at the borehole coupled with the installation of two meters for the two boreholes, 24/7 water production and supply to esteemed customers using electricity alongside solar has been facilitated.

This will address all the past water shortages customers have been facing, ease the cut throat pressure on the existing two boreholes, increase water sales, grow billing and also ensure production and supply reliability with either of the two power source alternatives at hand.

The NWSC and World Vision partnership is only the beginning to more partnerships in the different operational areas of NWSC.

NWSC is Committed to Water for All, For a Delighted Customer by a Delighted Workforce.
