In fulfillment of NWSC’s mandate of providing safe clean water to all, the APAC area recently received a boost as it commissioned three (3) new boreholes. The interventions, part of the larger AATWATSAN project saw the completion of two new boreholes in Chegere with a capacity of 35cubics per day. In addition to these, the area also received a borehole located at Atar village.
Through these interventions, the area hopes to improve service delivery to Awila, Chegera, Atar, Ibuje and surrounding communities.
Coupled with measures to tackle illegal water use, timely handling of leakages and sensitizations, Apac aims to improve water supply and better serve its customers in the ever-growing area.
