In an effort to bolster proactive customer engagement and tap into Kampala Water’s sales growth potential, a collaborative team embarked on a mission to the International Specialized Hospital of Uganda (ISHU), nestled in Lubowa on October 12, 2023.

The primary objective of this visit was to meticulously examine the facility’s operations. During a preliminary meeting, both teams identified critical concerns, formulated practical solutions, and explored the potential for an enduring business partnership.

The teams then embarked on a comprehensive tour of the premises, which encompassed a review of the alternative water source. Since the signing of a guiding MoU in 2022, this source has accounted for a substantial 1095m3 of water consumption.

KW’s delegation featured key figures such as Dr. Nicholas Mwebesa Mwebaze, Eng. Francis Kateeba, Winfred Maiga, Gilbert Akuguzibwe, Juliet Asiimwe (Lubowa), and Mariam Nanozi (Katale). They were warmly received by ISHU’s Moses Matovu, the Company Secretary, and Arinda Lillian, the Legal Officer.

Of utmost significance is the fact that the imminent activation of ISHU promises a substantial upswing in water sales and, consequently, revenue generation for KW.
