For greater efficiency, convenience and flexibility, Kampala Water is taking staff leave application digital.
During the partners’ meeting hosted at the National Water and Sewerage Corporation’s International Resource Center (IREC), the Senior Manager Human Resources-Kampala Water, Mr. Peter Makumbi announced that the Human Resource department has made the decision to go digital with staff leave application.
The innovation will call for the department’s partnership with the information technology teams and is geared towards ensuring information accuracy in regard to application dates, period of leave taken, leave payment requests, easy record keeping and accountability.
The migration will be effected in January 2023. Information Technology and Human Resource officers will be tasked with training all staff on how to use the new system.
