Kampala Water Top Management lays strategies to improve performance

The Kampala Water Top management team on 14th September 2021 held a one-day retreat and laid strategies to improve performance.


The retreat focused on devising strategies to meet and exceed performance targets agreed with Head Office and those enshrined in the Corporate Plan 2021-2024.


The meeting detailed strategies that will see Kampala Water focus on; Water sales, Revenue collection, Reduction in Non-Revenue Water, expanding access to all through infrastructure interventions, better and predictive understanding of customer behavior, Enhanced customer care and stakeholder engagement, Skilling of staff to ensure efficiency and, Personal accountability for performance.

The General Manager-Kampala Water, Mr. Mahmood Lutaaya challenged the management team to rise to the challenge of growing customer, management and stakeholder expectations. Mr. Lutaaya said the recently completed Katosi project presents opportunities for business growth and a better service offering for our customers, and asked the team to focus on delivering results by energizing their respective teams through personal accountability for performance and results.

He assured the team of support from Top Management and the Board of Directors.
